Gregory and Martha Ludlum opened Sprigs Restaurant June 26, 2008. Life has been a whirlwind since then! We have been through three menu changes, Summer, Fall and Winter, and the Spring Menu will be unveiled towards the end of this month. Gregory believes in changing the menu seasonally. In doing so, he can offer fresh, and often local, ingredients. We also don't want folks to dine their way through the menu, and then have nothing new to try! It is always hard to retire previous favorites, but many of them will return when their season comes around again - like the warm, fall comfort of a beautifully braised lamb shank with white bean ragout.
Sprigs has four separate dining rooms, a copper-topped bar, and, of course, in the warmer months, our patio that is surrounded by flower gardens.
Although the times are challenging for many, we are still busy more often than not. We welcome you dropping in any time, but we do recommend reservations for Saturday nights.
We have a great local boy behind the bar - he's fun and makes good drinks! - we've got some great new wait staff, Martha is still checking in with folks to see if there are any special details we can provide, and Gregory is still full of new ideas for menus and specials.
